Zilveren militaire broche
Een 19e eeuwse zilveren militaire broche met daarin een portret van een Franse officier tevens een adelaar met gespreide vleugels op de achtergrond.
Herkomst van het grande armee, juist ja, dat van Napoleon Bonaparte en daar een officier van.
Afmeting: 28mm x 25mm.
Ja detecteren kan mooi zijn. Zo ontdekte ik onlangs dat bij een Amerikaanse collega namelijk Jim dat hij dezelfde zilveren broche
gevonden had als ik hier. Wat ook te zien is hij denkt dat ie ‘n knoop gevonden heeft omdat de naald bevestiging waarschijnlijk
afgebroken is. Zou leuk zijn als hem meegedeeld werd dat hij een leuk zilver item van het leger van Napoleon Bonaparte en daarvan
een van zijn officieren gevonden had ben jij degene die dat doet?

One 19th century round silver French officers broche (badge) with an eagle in the background. It was
from Napoleons' Grande armee and it belonged to one of their French officers.
Size: 28 mm x 25mm.
This the second time now that I see a metal detecting find in the States ( U.S.A.)
This searcher Jim has the same silver broche that I have already found here in the Netherlands –Europe.
It’s a given thing that the emigrants took some Dutch belongings with them to America in the 19th century.
Jim found this button in Pennsylvania, where he also recovered several colonial coins. At first glance the button
appears to have the image of a woman on it, but after closer inspection, it appears to be a soldier with a uniform
on which has a high collar. Also notice that the button has an eagle with its head at about 1 o'clock. Any information
would be greatly appreciated.
