Panelli was closely associated with other Italian forgers of the period, particularly Erasmo Oneglia and Jean Sperati. Fresh, with deep rich vibrant original colour. Clean and flat and most attractive. Free of all gook and gunk and aging etc, after 85 years. Deep paper “bite” from the engraved steel die under pressure, with engraved cross-hair registration marks each side. Essential for any serious New Guinea Exhibit.
