Romeinse Gordelsluiting

One Dutch-Roman-Celtic period bronze / copper alloy or Roman / Byzantine plate - or belt buckle or lock. It was a find of many bottom finds from the Roman time zone on that field. For yours information you can look to this very interesting site see it for yourself.

The total length of only the yellow plate: 50 mm. x width: 55 mm.
The total length of the D-buckle or lock: 45mm. x width: 30 mm.
Period: Approx. 5th – 6th century A.D.
