Romeinse schijffibula met naald

One Dutch - Roman Period Wheel Brooch.

Description: A wheel brooch with four straight spokes, a wide felloe and a hub with an integral cup-like moulding at the centre. Facially the felloe has inner and outer bordering ribs, between which the smooth face is shallowly arrised. The cup-like moulding on the hub has a rounded conical projection at the centre. The brooch retains its copper-alloy pin, which is fitted between two lugs, and the catch plate survives complete. Iron corrosion around the hinge-lugs suggests that the pin is fitted on an iron axis bar.

Maybe its a Celtics Wheel Brooch of Origin.
Circa late 1st Century A.D.
Material: Copper-Aloy.
Diameter Size: 35 mm.
