Twee fragmenten van 2 verschillende bronstijd bijlen. De bovenste was is een bronzen palstaaf bijl en de onderste
was een bronzen kokerbijl deze werden als de eigenaar ervan dood was, kapot geslagen en geofferd voor zijn betere overgang naar het walhalla. Ooit detecteert men zo'n offerstuk.

It's a given thing when the owner of this socket axe died than it was for the axe also done.
The one above the circa 1300-1000 B.C. palstave bronze axe I detected that in the early nineties in the neighbourhood of the
place Dover - England. The other one below the circa 800-700 B.C. socketed bronze axe in the Netherlands.
Both axes were handy for the early farmers. They were their instruments for times like war, or peace.
